It is made of SK5 spring steel, undergoing stamping, rolling, tooth milling and heat treatment. The cutting edge is locally coated with nickel-based diamond composite layer via electroplating, including pre-nickel plating, diamond grain co-deposition and final polishing.
Metallographic analysis serves as the core quality inspection method. Cross-section microscopic examination helps check the metallographic structure of the substrate, thickness of coating layers, distribution and embedding depth of diamond particles. It effectively detects defects such as coating delamination and particle agglomeration, evaluates bonding strength and wear resistance, and ensures long-term stability and service life under high-speed cutting conditions.
