Trojan Mounting Lower Plunger
The lower plunger is at the bottom of the sleeve. It serves as the bottom support of the mold. Together with the sleeve and upper plunger, it forms a closed cavity to support the sample and mounting compound. It bears pressure during heating and compression, and allows easy ejection of the specimen after molding.
